Medallion Stamp

Hi Everyone

Looks like the rain has stopped at last. I hope the weather is better by Friday as I'm going on a cruise to Amsterdam and Hamburg - and I'm not a good sailor! I'll have to take my Quells.

Here is a card using the marvelous Medallion Stamp. The background was made using Distress Inks and cut and dry foam. And I also used one of the beautiful Antique brads.

I've just been given a new camera, so hopefully my photography will be improving!

Happy Accidents

I have the really bad habit of putting things on top of my guillotine to get them out of my way, then when I go to cut something I accidentally cut the wrong things. Yesterday, I accidently snipped a corner off a piece of DSP and was determined not to waste it, so I tried it on this card. I couldn't have been more pleased with the result. I'm afraid I'm not so lucky with my photography as this is a really bad picture. I'll try again and put a better picture up if I can.

What a busy girl I've been

I have been busy in the craft room recently. I bought a load of new goodies at various craft shows recently, and am just getting around to trying them all out. This card is one of my favourites. Notice I managed to use a stamp from one of my free Sale-A-Bration sets as well.  The Outlined Occasions set is really great and I think I will use it a lot. Can't believe it was free!

More French Foliage

French Foliage is a stamp set I keep coming back to. I just love it. Here is a card I made yesterday. The sentiment is a stamp I found in my stash. The card layout was inspired by a card I saw on another blog. Sorry I can't remember which blog.

Friendly Words

Hi Everyone

I've only recently started to appreciate how good Stampin Around Wheels are. I bought the Friendly Words and the Very Vintage Jumbo Wheels and I love them both. This card uses the Friendly Words wheel  and also a stamp from the My Friend stamp set, which is in the Spring Mini.

Daisies and Leaves

I had a lazy Sunday, and spent the morning in the craft room. I should have been out doing some gardening as the weather was so nice, but instead I've made a garden themed card. I'm really loving my Big Shot at the moment, and particularly the Daisies #2 die and the Sizzlits Little Leaves. I seem to be using them on everything .  On this card I also used one of my favourite stamp sets French Foliage in the background.
